Stress and Coping


For this activity you will take a stress inventory to examine your feeling of stress and means of coping with it.

To begin, click on this link or (Word) and (right mouse click save files as) to download the file to complete the questions.

Once you have done that, review your answers and comment on the items that you have indicated are sources of stress with respect to the points raised in the lecture notes regarding stress and coping. (link)

Write up a paragraph indicating whether or not you are experiencing stress and the general nature of it along with the methods you are currently using to reduce stress. 

Finally, examine the list of modes of coping, ranging from primary appraisal through to symptom reducing activities that you might make use of in the future to help reduce your experience of stress.
