Activity 5

All you need is Love

Go to this page and review the emotion of Love.htm

Once you have read through the text and these notes, think about what love is to you.

Turing to every-day life we see expressions of Love all around us.  There are songs of romance, devotion, loss and pain all due to love. Poetry, literature, painting, dance and even architecture (Taj Mahal ) have been expressions of love. People sacrifice themselves for love (romantic or spiritual or parental, or nationalistic) and sometimes they destroy what they love because of being unable to let go of their love or from what too much of the other, too controlling, too possessive or too demanding.

Hence Love can be a powerful emotion, but it can also be a powerful source of motivation. It is, in its various forms, an important part of our lives, from conception through to death.

So for this activity you have two tasks:

1) Review the notes on the triangle of Love and write up a paragraph addressing at least three of the main types where you describe what they are and also provide and example of each from everyday life.

2) Also write a paragraph about what you would do for Love.

Drop these into the drop box for activity 5.
